Description

Reports to the finance & administration director. Responsible for assisting in property control functions and records retention.

  • Inventory to property records.

  • Compile all information obtained from researching records and physical inventory and prepare property data transmittal sheets to update and correct property listing and maintain proper accountability.

  • Control storage of all accountable property. Prepare and control property requirement lists.

  • Prepare transfer orders on equipment being transferred from other centers and government agencies.

  • Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.

  • Review internal move orders generated on center and control data input to both the DOL and Flint Hills mechanized systems.

  • Monitor purchase requisitions for accountable property, ensure that proper assignments are given account numbers, PRL line item numbers, schedule number, federal stock numbers and property tag numbers as required.

  • Utilize proper receiving procedures for all food stuff, pharmaceuticals, merchandise mating and making adjustments for discrepancies.

  • Receive and account for equipment, materials and supplies being delivered directly to the using departments. Ensure proper assignment and accountability forms are signed by the department's receiving authority.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and three years related experience. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
